About

The Colorado Coalition for African Empowerment is comprised of nine Colorado registered non-profits that are scaling up based on their collective successful empowerment projects in twenty African countries. CCAE was introduced in 2010 and we are all unpaid volunteers.

The Coalition strives to empower impoverished sub-Saharan African families and orphaned children by creating holistic and sustainable projects that result in self-support through collaborative fund-raising and grant efforts.

The Colorado Coalition for African Empowerment, CCAE, works in 20 African countries. The coalition idea was introduced by our co-founders; a Procter & Gamble 35-year veteran executive, who is currently a Denver Service Corps of Retired Executives, SCORE, counselor and one of our advisors, and a former “Just Say No” International Colorado regional director, who is the current CCAE president.
