About
The Somali Bantu Community Development Council of Denver (SBCDC) was organized exclusively for charitable, educational and social assistance purposes. Specifically to assist Denver area Somali Bantu refugees to develop the linguistic, employment and life skills necessary for a healthy, efficient, and effective integration into the Denver community.
The Somali Bantu Community Development Council's mission is t o advocate on behave of Somali Bantu and other refugee communities through the provision of social and economic development programs to increase self-sufficiency and educational resources so that families can make a successful cultural responsive, economic, and social transition to life in the United States, and to provide services to assist families in becoming economically stable, civically engaged members of their new community in Denver, Colorado.
