Baobab is a local company importing wines from South Africa. Our founder, Giles Thomas, a native South African started the company in 2016 and currently resides in Lafayette.

Curt MacNeill, Colorado Sales Manager, lives in North Boulder and is a diehard cyclist who has done multiple disciplines including cross country racing, downhill, slopestyle and now road cycling.

Baobab proudly represents 10 small family and historic wine properties, all in the Western Cape of South Africa, within 90 minutes of Capetown. Baobab also heavily supports native Africans as well as female winemakers and cellar masters and also has a program of giving back for every bottle of Baobab wine sold.
