Rocky Mountain APTA (RMAPTA)
As the travel industry moves steadily towards specialization in destination, lifestyle, niche markets and other segments, Africa is emerging as a strong favorite with agents looking for a lucrative and rewarding destination to focus on or add to their offering. The continent answers particularly well to the growing demands for experiential travel, voluntourism, sustainable tourism, family/multi-generational travel, exotic honeymoons and of course, the bucket-list of places people want to see before they die. Deciding to sell Africa may not be difficult, but reaching the right people in the business to deal with, and finding the best companies to build relationships with, can be a daunting undertaking. Enter APTA, the Association for Promotion of Tourism to Africa. APTA is a non-profit, volunteer, B-2-B association of travel professionals on a mission to promote Africa and her islands as tourist destinations to the retail travel agents and tour operators in the United States.

Wild Source
We live and work in Africa and the USA. The Wild Source was founded by African big cat researcher Bill Given to create a safari planning company that could apply wildlife biologist knowledge to develop safaris tailored specifically to the wildlife interests of each traveler. We provide the convenience of a Colorado based planning office but also have a full Tanzanian registered ground operation with an office in Arusha. The Wild Source employs a staff of 20 in Africa and we have our own remarkable guides and camps. We have partnerships with the other major camp owners to be able to offer the full range of possibilities for each itinerary. Ultimately it is all about relationships, and our special community spanning two continents makes The Wild Source uniquely positioned to create and deliver a safari that exceeds your dreams.
